Call for Expression of Interest in Hosting the Bi-Annually Held ‘International Symposium on Frontiers in Molecular Science (ISFMS)’

Call for Expression of Interest in Hosting the Bi-Annually Held ‘International Symposium on Frontiers in Molecular Science (ISFMS)

The ISFMS Steering Committee seeks Expressions of Interest (EoI) bids from universities/organizations who wish to host the ISFMS Conference Series. Bids from areas anywhere in the world are welcome.

Important Dates

The ISFMS Steering Committee is accepting EoI until 28 February 2018.

Facts

Bidders must have the facility to organize and host a three-day symposium of roughly 150–300 participants including:

  • Easy access to the symposium venue and the capability to offer a wide range of services, such as catering, WLAN and internet services, organization of social events.
  • Ability to cover all costs with registration fees and sponsoring.
  • Capacity to handle and collect registration fees.

MDPI will manage the website on Sciforum, based on the input provided by the local host. MDPI will design the logos and banners for the conference website following the style of the ISFMS.

Expression of Interest Instructions

  1. EoI must be submitted by 28 February 2018 to EoI@mdpi.com
  2. The length of the application should not exceed two A4 pages and should include:
    • Name(s) of the bidder(s), contact details and a short biography
    • Name of the planned venue (city and infrastructure)
    • Proposed dates for the conference
  3. Once all the bids have been reviewed, the selection committee will invite bidders to submit a detailed proposal by 31 March 2018.

ISFMS Previous Edition

The International Symposium on Frontiers in Molecular Science—Non-Coding RNAs and Epigenetics in Cancer, was held in Basel, Switzerland, in 2017: https://sciforum.net/conference/ncRNA-Cancer.

The Non-Coding RNAs and Epigenetics in Cancer edition aimed to highlight the most exciting developments and the latest breakthroughs in oncology. Different topics within the molecular science field are sought for the follow-on editions.

The International Symposium on Sensor Science (I3S) aimed to highlight the most exciting aspects and the latest developments in sensor science. Different current topics of relevance to todays sensor science issues are sought for future symposia.
