Conference Schedule

  • Deadline for Abstract Submission: 30 September 2017
  • Notification of Acceptance: 10 October 2017
  • PowerPoint Presentation Submission: 10 November 2017

The conference will be held online (http://sciforum.net/conference/iecm-2) from 20–27 November 20 November –1 December 2017. Scientists have been accustomed to attend conferences, as they are an integral part of the scientific communication cycle. However, conferences require scientists for costly and time-consuming travels across the globe. E-Conferences are here to reduce the additional burden of attending physical conferences: one can attend an e-conference from any place with Internet access and presentations from e-conferences can be attended online at any time. All participants can share ideas online without time and space barriers.

The conference will cover a wide range of topics in metabolomics. A non exhaustive list of that will be considered comprises:

Section A: Neurological Metabolomics

  • Metabolomic platform technologies for neuronal tissue
  • Neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric  illness
  • Biomarkers and clinical applications for brain disorders
  • Metabolomics of the synapse

Section B: Nutrimetabolomics and Pharmaceutical Research

  • Metabolic phenotyping related to health sciences
  • Advanced NMR and MS in food science
  • Food chemistry and characterisation
  • Metabolomics in nutrition science
  • Metabolomics technology as a tool to determine dietary impact on metabolic phenotypes as related to health

Section C: Plant and Microbial Metabolomics

  • Plant lipid metabolism
  • Molecular biology of biotin and biotin-containing enzymes
  • Microbial metabolomics
  • Central carbon metabolism
  • Microbial physiology
  • Secondary metabolites
  • Mass spectrometry
  • Gas chromatography
  • Sample preparation for metabolome analysis

Section D: Clinical Applications of Metabolomics

  • Clinical studies and side effects reports
  • Metabolomics
