Dr. Prof. Grigory V. Zyryanov (born in 1973) graduated from the Ural Polytechnical Institute in 1995. In 2000, he earned his Ph.D. in organic chemistry. In 2001–2003, he completed his post-doctoral studies on calix[4]arenes and supramolecular chemistry of gases with Prof. Dmitry M. Rudkevich (UT Arlington, TX). In 2004, he joined the research group of Prof. Pavel Anzenbacher Jr. (BGSU, OH), where he worked on molecular recognition and photochemistry. In 2010, he joined the faculty of the Department of Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry (Ural Federal University, Russia). In 2012, he earned a Doctor of Science Degree in Chemistry.
