Prof. Katharina Helming is a soil scientist and agronomist and currently serves as a senior researcher at the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research in Germany. She is a professor of sustainability assessment at the University for Sustainable Development Eberswalde, Germany (University of Applied Sciences). Prof. Katharina Helming has 25 years of experience in research on agriculture, soil conservation, and sustainable landscape management in Europe, the USA, China, and Central Asia. Her current research is about the societal aspects of soil management and the sustainable assessment of land use changes. Prof. Katharina Helming has published more than 85 international scientific publications.
