José Luis Duarte Ribeiro is a Full Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), holds a Master's and Ph.D. in Engineering from UFRGS (1989) and a post-doctorate from Rutgers - The State University of New Jersey (1993). He currently coordinates the Product and Process Optimization Laboratory and the Innovation and Sustainability Center at PPGEP/UFRGS. He has experience in the area of Industrial Engineering, working mainly on the following topics: Product Development, Quality Engineering, Reliability, Risk Management, Service Management, Technology Management, Innovation Management, Competence Management and Sustainability.
