Gordana Dodig-Crnkovic is a Professor of Computer Science at Mälardalen University and a Professor of Interaction Design at Chalmers University of Technology. She holds PhD degrees in Physics and Computer Science. Her research is in Morphological Computation, the Study of Information, and of Ethics. She has a long record of teaching at graduate and undergraduate levels, among others courses in Professional Ethics, (MDHs, masters, and PhDs), Research Ethics and Sustainable Development (Chalmers, PhD), Formal Languages and Automata Theory, Computing and Philosophy, Computational Thinking Tools, Research Methods, Scientific Methodology, Knowledge, Informaton, Ethics, Science, and recently Emerging Trends in Interaction Design. She published Investigations into Information Semantics and Ethics of Computing (2006), Information and Computation Nets (2009), and six edited volumes (2007, 2011, 2013, 2017, 2017, 2019, and 2020) with Springer and World Scientific, and two edited books with MDPI (2019, 2020). She is a past President of the International Society for the Study of Information, member of the editorial board of the World Scientific Series in Information Studies and Springer SAPERE series, and a member of the editorial board of several journals. Dodig-Crnkovic is an external member of the Karel Capek Center for Values in Science and Technology (www.cevast.org) a multidisciplinary research center established by the Czech Academy of Science and the Charles University, Prague.
