Cristina Romero-López completed her PhD work in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in November 2005 at the University of Granada (Spain). Currently, she works as researcher in the Instituto de Parasitología y Biomedicina “López-Neyra” (Spanish National Research Council-CSIC, Granada, Spain). She is an expert in the development and implementation of biochemical techniques for the large-scale study of the structure of RNA molecules at nucleotide resolution. She has participated in more than 50 publications in reputed journals. Her works have been cited almost 1000 times.
