Rosa ROMANO is an architect (2003), PhD graduate(2010), and Assistant Professor (2006), with a licence as an Associate Professor (2014). Currently, she is teaching Architectural Technology at the schools of Architecture in Florence (Italy) and in Tirana (Albania) and working as a senior researcher in the ABITA Interuniversity Research Centre, participating in many national and international projects on Environmental Sustainability and Energy Efficiency in Building. Since 2009, she has been a member of the Italian Society of Architectural Technology and the European Façade Network since 2017.
Her research interests focus on architectural technologies, performances and technological features of the smart and adaptive envelopes for nZEB, school buildings and nZEB design, and resilience strategies for smart cities. Furthermore, she carries out professional activities as an architect and energy adviser for public administrations and private companies.
