Dr. Guan-Ting Pan

Information

Guan-Ting, Pan obtained his Ph.D. in Engineering Technology and Master in Chemical Engineering from the National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT) and is now working as a research assistant professor at NTUT. He had developed patents for devices of photochemical reaction and equipment of hydrogen generator by decomposing brine and was awarded the University’s highest-honor Golden Hand Award. Pan and his team also developed a portable, light-weight and foldable supercapacitor, and integrated it with solar power and foldable batteries, which were then combined with various daily-use products, such as solar-powered bicycle packs, solar wireless textile sensors, etc. for convenient use in child and elderly care, as well as in farming such as grazing. His research interests are the development and synthesis of nanomaterials and feasibility studies on material applications such as hydrogen production and solar power harvesting.
