Sheng-Jye Hwang received a Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Urbana, in 1992. He has been a Faculty Member with National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan since 1992, where he is a Professor. He has several publications and patents pending in the areas of polymer processing and electronic packaging.
