Prof. Dr. Pascal Sonnet

Pr. Pascal Sonnet received his Ph.D. degree in Medicinal Chemistry from Caen University (1997). He performed his postdoctoral training as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the Synthetic Organic Chemistry Charette's Group, University of Montreal, Canada, from 1997 to 1998. He joined the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Picardie Jules Verne, Amiens as an Assistant Professor in Medicinal Chemistry in 1998, then was promoted to Professor in 2004. Since 2018, he has served as the director of the AGIR (Infectious Agents, Resistance, and Chemotherapy) research team. His research interests concern the design and development of antibacterial and antimalarial drugs.
