Prof. Rasulev is a Head of the Laboratory of Computational Polymer Science and Cheminformatics at the Department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials, NDSU. His research covers a range of topics in machine learning and structure–activity relationships for the biological activity, toxicity, and physico-chemical properties' prediction of polymeric materials and nanomaterials. For this purpose, he applies cheminformatics and materials informatics, as well as quantum-mechanical calculations, protein–ligand docking, and data mining.
