Xueyong Wei received his MS degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University in 2005 and his PhD degree from the University of Birmingham in 2009. He then conducted research into micromechanical inertial sensors at the University of Cambridge as a postdoctoral research associate. He joined the Mechanical Engineering Department at Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2012, where he is presently a professor in microsystems technology.
