Changrui Liao received a B.Eng. degree in optical engineering and the M.S. degree in physical electronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2005 and 2007, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, in 2012. He is currently a professor at Shenzhen University, Shenzhen, China. His current research interests include femtosecond laser micromachining, optical fiber sensors, and optomicrofluidics
