Dr. Leila D. Martins

Short Biography

Leila has a degree in chemistry from the State University of Londrina and a PhD in science (meteorology area, concept 7) from the University of São Paulo. She is currently a professor (associate professor) at the Federal Technological University of Paraná, Londrina campus. She is the leader of the environmental pollution group at UTFPR and the Laboratory of Analysis in Air Pollution-Lapar. She works as a researcher at the Laboratory of Analysis of Atmospheric Processes-LAPAt / USP and the Laboratory of Analysis of Components of Ar-LACA / UEL. The main lines of research within the area of atmospheric chemistry involve the role of anthropogenic emissions in the formation of tropospheric ozone, studies of observational air quality with atmospheric modeling, the analysis of personal exposure to environmental pollutants and climate, and the development of strategies to control air pollution.
