Juan José Nogal-Ruiz received his Ph.D. in pharmacy (parasitology) from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), Spain. He is currently a Professor of parasitology at the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology, Faculty of Pharmacy, UCM. His expertise is in the fields of pharmacology, parasitology, immunoparasitology, antiparasitic chemotherapy, and infectious disease epidemiology.
