Barbara Fabbri obtained her M.Sc. degree and Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Ferrara in 2011 and in 2015, respectively. From 2015 to 2021, she was a postdoc student at the same university and from 2021 she was a researcher involved in the field of gas sensors. She studies innovative nanostructured materials, their characterization, and different applications, from precision farming to medical diagnosis. Recently, she has opened her studies to advanced operando characterization techniques, such as DRIFT spectroscopy, to investigate gas sensing mechanisms.
