Rodrigo Munguı́a received his Ph.D. degree in automation and robotics from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain in 2009. Currently, he is a professor with the Department of Computer Science at the University of Guadalajara, México. His research interests include mobile robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles, navigation systems for autonomous vehicles, automatic control, optimal state estimation, and
computer vision. He is a member of the researcher’s national system of Mexico.
