Alexandra Dmitrievna Voloshina, senior researcher. She graduated from Kazan State University in 1990 with a Specialist’s degree and received her PhD degree in 2015 from Kazan (Volga region) Federal University. Since 1990 and up to now, she has carried out investigations on the wide spectrum of biological activity (antimicrobial and antifungal properties, cytotoxicity and capability to induce cell apoptosis) of new compounds synthesized at the Arbuzov Institute of Organic and Physical Chemistry.
