Dr. Eduardo González-Zamora

Short Biography

Eduardo González-Zamora, full professor at UAM-I, Mexico, was born in 1961 in Mexico City. He received his MSc degree from UAM-I in 1988. In 1994, he moved to France and obtained his PhD (1998) from Paris XI University under the supervision of Professor R. Beugelmans. After one year of post-doctoral work with Professor R. Cruz at the Instituto de Química (UNAM, Mexico), he joined the Institut de Chimie es Substances Naturelles (CNRS, France) in 2000 as a post-doctoral fellow for two years working with Professor J. Zhu. In 2011, he moved to UCLA (USA) as a visiting professor in M.A. Garcia-Garibay’s group. His research interests include multicomponent reactions, MOF chemistry, and total synthesis.
