Edina Rusen is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science, Polytechnic University of Bucharest. She holds a Master’s degree (2003) and a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, both from Politehnica University of Bucharest (2005). She is also the recipient of the L’Oréal Women in Science Award (2013). Her published papers are mainly related to polymer synthesis, hybrid materials, inorganic particles synthesis, and their applications.
