Dr. Andrew J. Mouland is currently a Professor of the Department of Medicine, Divisions of Experimental Medicine and Infectious Disease at McGill University. He is also an
Associate Member of the Department of Microbiology & Immunology. His
research interests are focused on the study of immunology and infectious
diseases. The Mouland laboratory focuses on molecular and cellular biology
of RNA viruses, in particular, the human immunodeficiency virus—type 1 (HIV-1),
the causative agent of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS).
