Adil Denizli is a professor at Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. He received his Ph.D. degree from the same university in 1992. His main research fields are molecular imprinting technologies, hemoperfusion, purification of enzymes and proteins using chromatographic methods, biosensors based on synthetic receptor technology, production of polymers that have different surface and bulk properties, shapes, and geometries, and the application of these polymers in medicine and biochemistry. Dr. Denizli has written more than 560 articles and 30 book chapters. He has published 50 research articles in national journals and 100 popular science articles. He has two patents and has supervised more than 60 M.Sc. theses, 46 Ph.D. theses, and 5 post-doctoral research papers.
