Mahdi Hasanlou received the BSc degree in Surveying and Geomatics Eng. from the University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, in 2003, the M.Sc. degree in Remote Sensing from University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, in 2006, and the PhD degree in Remote Sensing from University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, in 2013. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the School of Surveying and Geospatial Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Tehran, Iran, where he is the director of Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry group and the head of the Remote Sensing Laboratory. His research activities are mainly focused on Hyperspectral Image Processing, Satellite Oceanography, Optical Remote Sensing, SAR and InSAR Imagery, Thermal Remote Sensing, Image Pattern Recognition/Image Matching and Motion Extraction, Land Use & Land Cover Classification, and Change and Anomaly Detection.

Short Biography
