Professor Antonio Frattari

Antonio Frattari was Professor at the University of Roma “La Sapienza” from 1975 to 1986. Since 1986 he is Full Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at the University of Trento (Italy). He is head of the Laboratory of Building Design (LBD) and head of the University Centre for Smart Buildings (CUNEDI) of the University of Trento. He is board member of the (IAHS) International Association for Housing Science, the ICOMOS International Council for Monument and Sites (ICOMOS) . The current researches are focused: on researches and studies in the field of the sustainable building; on the innovative technologies for the construction of low energy consumption buildings with renewable and natural materials; on the development of rating systems for the evaluation of the building sustainability. He is author of more than 220 publications: books and scientific papers. url:
