Maria João Ramos received her PhD in Quantum Chemistry from the University of Glasgow. She conducted her postdoctoral studies in Molecular Modelling at the University of Oxford (UK). She was Vice-Rector at the University of Porto, an Associate Director at the NFCR Centre for Computational Drug Discovery at Oxford and a Director at the Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto. She is currently a Full Professor at the University of Porto, Portugal. Her research interests focus on Computational Enzymology and Drug Discovery.
