Dr. Guillermo Robles

Guillermo Robles was born in Madrid, Spain, in 1969. He received his Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICAI), Madrid, Spain, in 2002. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, Carlos III University of Madrid, Getafe, Spain, where he is now a Full Professor. He is also with the High-Voltage Research and Tests Laboratory (LINEALT). He has coauthored more than 100 papers in international journals and conferences. He holds several patents in the area of instrumentation and measurement and signal processing systems. He also has been the Principal Investigator in several projects with private and public funding. His research interests include the design of sensors, instrumentation and measurement techniques for high-frequency currents, and UHF signals.
