Petra F.A. Dilling is an Associate Professor at the graduate school of SUNY Empire State University. Before that, she was a faculty member at NYIT Vancouver. She earned an MBA from Simon Fraser University (BC, Canada), and a Ph.D. from Frankfurt University in Germany. In addition, she is a designated Chartered Professional Accountant (British Columbia, Canada). Petra has worked at various universities in three different countries (Germany, Canada and the United States. Petra has served in various academic administrative (MBA coordinator, Associate Dean, Director of Student Advancement) and faculty positions for over 20 years. Areas of teaching include strategic management, global strategy, cross-cultural business management, business ethics, and financial and non-financial reporting mainly at the graduate level. She worked with AACSB, Middle States Commission and BC Ministry of Advanced Education accreditation compliance/self-study projects at the business school and university. Her research interests lie in the areas of climate change, corporate governance, non-financial reporting, integrated reporting, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and sustainability reporting.
