Prof. Han-Sheng Chuang

Information

Han-Sheng Chuang is a full-time professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan. He completed his B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University during 1994–1998 and 1998–2000, respectively. In 2001, he joined CMS/ITRI as Associate Engineer and then later moved to the USA to pursue his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 2005. He completed his postdoctoral research at University of Pennsylvania during 2010–2011. In 2011 he became an assistant professor at the Department of Biomedical Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan; and then later became an associate professor and professor in 2015 and 2019, respectively. He is also affiliated with the Medical Device Innovation Centre, at National Cheng Kung University. He is actively working in Microfluidics and BioMEMS.
