Dr. Yi-Chung Tung

Yi-Chung Tung is a research fellow/professor at the Research Center for Applied Sciences (RCAS) at Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. Before joining Academia Sinica, he was a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, for more than three years. He received his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2005, and his B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1996 and 1998, respectively. His research interests include developing microfluidic devices to mimic physiological microenvironments for in vitro cell culture and devices for cell analysis.
