2nd Mycokey International Conference - Integrated Solutions for Mycotoxin Management
16–18 Sep 2018, Wuhan, China
Welcome from the Chairs
Dear colleagues and friends,
This is the first circular for the forthcoming the Second Mycokey International Conference to be held at Wuhan, September 15-18, 2018. This Conference, hosted jointly by Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences (HAAS) and China Society of Plant Protection (CSPP) will involve a wide range of mycotoxin management topics covering the whole food and feed chain.
In recent years, with the global warming, change of cultivation system and differentiation of the toxigenic fungi, the world is facing increased challenges of mycotoxin contamination, which result in problems on food safety and international trade. MycoKey in an international cooperation project mainly supported by EU and China, it aims to generate innovative and integrated solutions that will support stakeholders in effective and sustainable mycotoxin management along food and feed chains. Based on Mycokey, this conference will provide an academic exchange platform for government, researchers and companies, strengthen the global knowledge on mycotoxins, extend the global cooperation network and promote the global development of mycotoxin management technology and industry. The theme of this congress is: Integrated Solutions for Mycotoxin Management. This conference will be held under the auspices of the International Society on Mycotoxicology (ISM).
Wuhan is one of the most beautiful historic cities in China. It lies at the east of Jianghan Plain, and the intersection of the middle reaches of the Yangtze and Han River. There are several famous scenic spots like Huanghelou, East Lake, Yangtze River Bridge and so on. We are confident that you will enjoy the conference and the China’s beautiful and historic city. It is our great honor to welcome you to the Second Mycokey International Conference.
I welcome you all to the city of Wuhan!
