22nd Biomedicines Webinar

Biomarkers in Metabolic Disorders, Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

This webinar focused on biomarkers linked to metabolic disorders, obesity, and type 2 diabetes mellitus. It highlighted novel molecular indicators for early diagnosis, monitoring disease progression, and assessing therapeutic efficacy and emphasized how advanced biomarker research laid a solid foundation for precise prevention strategies and personalized clinical management of prevalent metabolic illnesses. This event underscored the scientific importance of identifying reliable biomarkers to enable early diagnosis, monitor progression, and tailor therapies for metabolic diseases, potentially reducing burden and guiding precision medicine. The journal introduction and overview of the submission process were presented by Iulian Vlad Stan from 14:00 to 14:10. The chair introduction was provided by Prof. Dr. Anna Maria Różańska-Walędziak and Dr. Maciej Walędziak from 14:10 to 14:20. Prof. Dr. Anna Maria Różańska-Walędziak spoke on pregnancy after bariatric surgery from 14:20 to 14:40. Dr. Raquel Mantuaneli Scarel-Caminaga presented on potential biomarkers for type 2 diabetes mellitus, periodontitis, and dyslipidemia from 14:40 to 15:00, and a Q&A followed from 15:00 to 15:25. The closing of the webinar was delivered by Prof. Dr. Anna Maria Różańska-Walędziak and Dr. Maciej Walędziak from 15:25 to 15:30.
