Division of Dermatology, Department of Medicine, School of Medicine, University of Toronto, Canada;Aditya K. Gupta received his medical degree from the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom. He completed a dermatology residency and clinical research fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor; post-graduate research at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD, USA; and subsequently earned a Ph.D. from the University of Göteborg in Sweden. He is a Professor of Dermatology at the University of Toronto School of Medicine and serves as a Principal Investigator at Mediprobe Research Inc. in Canada. Dr. Gupta has established and led active clinical trial units in London, Ontario, and he leads a preclinical, clinical, and epidemiologic research team. His work focuses on superficial fungal infections (including onychomycosis, tinea pedis, and tinea capitis), psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, acne, actinic keratosis, and skin cancer. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Voluntary Professor, Department of Dermatology, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Main research interests: hair and nail diseases. Author of <575 peer-reviewed scientific papers -with more 13.000 citations and an h-index value of 62 (Scopus May 2026)- and many book chapters on hair and nail disorders. Co-author of the European and Italian guidelines on the treatment of androgenetic alopecia and of several consensus of experts on the treatment of various types of alopecia and inflammatory and infective nail diseases. Coordinator of many Italian and international epidemiological studies on several forms of cicatricial and non- cicatricial alopecia and hair diseases.

First Department of Dermatology and Venereology, Faculty of Medicine, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece;Dr Michael Arabatzis graduated in Medicine from Athens Medical School in 1993 and he was appointed Lecturer in Dermatology-Venereology in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2010. His scientific interests include direct molecular diagnosis of fungal infections, modern molecular identification of pathogenic fungi, clinical dermatomycology, epidemiology and molecular typing of fungi, modern automated diagnosis of fungal infections, fungal resistance to antifungals, fungal proteomics, environmental mycology, and fungal biology—the latter three with regard to their medical significance. Dr Arabatzis is currently an Assistant professor in Dermatology-Venereology in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and he runs the Mycology Laboratory of the First Department of Dermatology and Venereology there. He fully participates in undergraduate teaching since 2014. He is a member of the editorial board of two international journals and a reviewer for 39.

PHOENIX Research Center, Department of Dermatology and Allergy, Herlev & Gentofte University Hospital, with a joint appointment at the University of Copenhagen & Department of Clinical Medicine, Dermatovenerology, University of Copenhagen, Denmark;Ditte Marie Saunte is Clinical Professor and Consultant at the Department of Dermatology and Allergy, Herlev & Gentofte University Hospital, with a joint appointment at the University of Copenhagen. She is the President of the Danish Dermatological Society and Head of the PHOENIX Research Centre. Her clinical and research work focuses on medical mycology, including antifungal resistance in dermatophytosis and hidradenitis suppurativa. She is the chair of EADV mycology Task force.
