Artificial Intelligence in Diagnostics and Forensic Sciences: Current Applications, Challenges, and Future Directions

Dear colleagues, distinguished guests, and friends,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to this webinar on "Artificial Intelligence in Diagnostic and Forensic Sciences: Current Applications, Challenges, and Future Directions."

Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming healthcare and forensic practice, offering innovative tools to support diagnosis, enhance analytical accuracy, improve workflow efficiency, and assist evidence interpretation. From medical imaging and pathology to age estimation, forensic investigations, and decision-support systems, AI is increasingly influencing the way we collect, analyze, and utilize scientific information.

At the same time, the growing adoption of these technologies raises important scientific, ethical, legal, and practical challenges. Issues such as transparency, explainability, reliability, data quality, privacy protection, and accountability must be carefully addressed to ensure that AI is responsibly integrated into both diagnostic and forensic settings.

This webinar brings together experts working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, medicine, and forensic sciences. During the presentations, we will explore current applications of AI, discuss emerging opportunities and limitations, and examine future directions for research and professional practice.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our distinguished speakers for sharing their expertise and insights, and to all participants for joining us today. I hope that this webinar will encourage scientific discussion, foster new collaborations, and contribute to a deeper understanding of how artificial intelligence can support innovation while maintaining the highest standards of scientific rigor and professional responsibility.

Thank you for your participation, and I wish you an informative and stimulating webinar.
