Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to invite you to join the 2nd International Arab-Gulf Security Conference. The conference will be a hybrid event taking place via Zoom and at the American University of the Emirates campus in Dubai, UAE.
The American University in the Emirates (AUE) will be hosting and organizing the 2nd IAGSC under the patronage of Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Lieutenant General and the current Deputy Chief of Police and General Security in Dubai. The conference seeks to provide a platform for researchers to present and discuss recent developments, trends, and challenges accenting the world order whether politically, socially, or economically. Participants involved in the IAGSC are welcome to discuss and present research examining the possible strategies and solutions in the field of International Security Studies (ISS), International Relations (IR), and International Law (IL) by considering Global affairs generally, and the Arabian Gulf region specifically.
The American University in the Emirates and its College of Security and Global Studies (CSGS) are committed to research and the need to increase high-quality intellectual and scientific production in the UAE. This call for abstract presentation at the 2nd IAGSC invites researchers to join us in dialogue and following the conclusion of the conference submit their full manuscript at two SCOPUS indexed journals sponsoring IAGSC 2023.
The scope of IAGSC 2023 is to cover a whole range of research and sub-disciplines accenting Security, Law, and Politics thereby initiating a conference presenting and discussing new areas of research. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the sessions mentioned below.
