Welcome to this special webinar organised by the journal Disabilities to celebrate the poster award winners from the International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD) Congress 2026.
Following our sponsorship of the congress this summer, we are pleased to continue supporting its research community by giving the award winners an opportunity to share their work with a wider international audience. This webinar brings that collaboration beyond the conference, providing time to explore their findings in greater depth and exchange ideas with researchers and practitioners.
Disabilities is an international, peer reviewed, open access journal covering the physical, biopsychosocial, and environmental aspects of disability. Our support for the congress and this webinar reflects our commitment to sharing research that advances understanding of disability and informs practice.
Thank you for joining us to recognise the award winners’ achievements and learn more about their contributions to the study of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
