Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, University of Naples Federico II, Italy;Donato Amitrano was born in Naples, Italy, on December 27, 1985. He received the Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, the Master’s Degree in Aerospace and Astronautical Engineering, and the PhD in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from University of Naples “Federico II”, Italy, in 2009, 2012, and 2016, respectively. From 2016 to 2018 he worked as Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of the University of Naples “Federico II”. In this period, he was co-founder and CEO of Latitudo40, a high-tech start-up working on artificial intelligence solutions for Earth Observation applications. In 2019, he joined the Surrey Space Centre, University of Surrey, UK, as Research Associate. Starting from 2021 he is with the Aerospace Systems and Earth Observation Laboratory at the Italian Aerospace Research Centre. Dr Amitrano is technical consultant and expert reviewer for public authorities, scientific journals and private companies. Since 2024, he serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal IEEE Access. His research interests include microwave, multispectral and hyperspectral remote sensing, artificial intelligence and computer vision.

School of Computer Science and Informatics, University of Liverpool, UK;Dr. Guangliang Cheng is a Reader (Associate Professor) at the University of Liverpool, UK. He received his PhD from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2017. From 2017 to 2023, he was a Research Director at SenseTime, leading large-scale ADAS and autonomous-driving R&D. He has published 100+ peer-reviewed papers, including 5 IEEE TPAMI papers and 30+ CCF-A publications at venues including CVPR, ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS and ICCV, and holds 20+ US patents. His research focuses on remote sensing image processing, trustworthy visual intelligence, deepfake detection, autonomous perception, and vision-language learning. He has secured ~£260K as PI (Alan Turing Institute) and contributed as Co-I to a ~€9.3M EU-funded project.

School of Artificial Intelligence, University of Science and Technology Beijing, China;Shuchang Lyu worked as a Postdoc in the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering, Beihang University, Beijing from 2024 to 2026. He is now the lecturer of the School of Artificial Intelligence, University of Science and Technology Beijing. His research interests include multi-modality foundation models, domain adaptation semantic segmentation, remote sensing image analysis, and efficient network design. He has authored/co-authored over 50 publications in prominent journals and conferences, including ICML, TNNLS, TGRS, TCSVT, etc. His work has attracted notable attention within the research community, with a Google Scholar citation count of 4,783 (As of Aug. 2026). In addition to his research, Dr. Lyu actively contributes to the academic community. He has served as a Guest Editor for a special issue of Remote Sensing (a CAS Tier-2 journal) and has completed over 50 peer-review assignments for high-level journals and conferences, including IEEE IoT, IEEE TGRS, AAAI, etc.
