Corticosteroids in Community-Acquired Pneumonia (CAP)
Welcome to the corticosteroids webinar organized by the Journal of Medical Sciences.
This webinar will cover controversial topics such as the administration of corticosteroids in sCAP, a frequent respiratory infection and a very lethal disease.
After a short introduction by myself, Prof. Dr. Marco Confalonieri from Triestre will review the complex issue of the physiology of corticosteroids administration in critically ill patients, and Prof. Dr. Pierre-François Dequin from Tour will provide an in depth review on the current evidence, including the pros and the cons, for administering corticosteroids in sCAP.
Following the two presentations, there will be a debate and a Q&A session with our two speakers.
