Ms. Charlotte Gardini
Biography
Charlotte Gardini joined MDPI in August 2019. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature, Language Sciences, and Information and Communication Sciences and a master’s Degree in Language and Communication Sciences, majoring in English Linguistics – both degrees are from the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Before joining MDPI, she worked for Crans-Montana Tourism and Congress.

Ms. Judith Wu
Biography
Ms. Judith Wu graduated from Beijing Wuzi University with a Bachelor's degree in Business English. She joined MDPI in July 2017. She served as the Conference Secretariat of 22nd International Electronic Conference on Synthetic Organic Chemistry (ECSOC-22), 23rd International Electronic Conference on Synthetic Organic Chemistry (ECSOC-23), and 6th International Symposium on Sensor Science (I3S2018 Taiwan).
Ms. Judith Wu graduated from Beijing Wuzi University with a Bachelor's degree in Business English. She joined MDPI in July 2017. Dr. Elena Gonzalez
Biography
Dr. Elena Gonzalez joined MDPI in June 2020. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology and master’s in Biomedical Research. She received her doctoral degree in Biomedicine in 2019 from the University of Barcelona, Spain. Her PhD focused on understanding the embryonic development of the spinal cord and associated defects which resulted in 6 peer-reviewed international publications. During her PhD, she was visiting researcher at the Center for Integrative Biology, Toulouse, France. She often combined her research with the organization of science communication activities and the planning of scientific events.

Dr. Ana Sanchis
Biography
Dr. Ana Sanchis joined MDPI in June 2020. Prior to this, she received her PhD in Biotechnology in 2018 from the University of Barcelona. Her research was focused on the development of antibodies against small molecules and their implementation in multiplexed and miniaturized diagnostics platforms. She completed a postdoc in 2018–2020 at the Advanced Chemistry Institute of Catalonia (IQAC-CSIC) and was visiting researcher at the University of Nottingham. She has been involved in several European funded projects and her research has resulted in her co-authorship in 8 publications of international relevance.

Mr. Cédric Spinnler
Biography
Cédric Spinnler joined MDPI in April 2019 to work as a member of the Conference Team in Basel, Switzerland. Initially working part-time while studying law at the University of Basel, he became interested in a full-time position in his role at MDPI and has since stepped up to become a Conference Organizer. Prior to this, he worked in a company in the mechanical engineering industry, where he was mainly involved in the field of process management. He also started studying Business Information Technology (part-time) at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland, which he plans to continue at a later stage next to his current role at MDPI.
Cédric Spinnler joined MDPI in April 2019 to work as a member of the Conference Team in Basel, Switzerland. Biography

She holds a master’s degree in Philosophical Sciences, from the University of Padova, Italy, and a PhD in Bioethics from the University of Basel, Switzerland. Before becoming a part of MDPI’s Conference Team, she worked as a Postdoc Researcher and Congress Coordinator at the Institute for Biomedical Ethics at the University of Basel, where she combined her research with her interest in organizing academic events and scientific conferences.
Dr. Maddalena Favaretto joined MDPI in July 2023. Biography
Ms. Mina Marjanović joined MDPI in October 2020. She holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Novi Sad, Serbia, and a degree in Specialist Studies in Forensic Sciences from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. Before joining the Conference Team, Mina worked in MDPI's Editorial Department as Assistant Editor, Special Issue Editor, and Journal Relations Specialist.
