Melt Reaction Method for the Synthesis of 2-Arylbenzotiazoles

Abstract

A variety of 2-arylbenzothiazoles were prepared by the melt reaction of 2-aminothiophenol and aryl aldehydes under oxygen atmosphere. No further oxidative reagent is needed.
