Abstract
4-Aryl-6-styryl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidin-2-ones are final products of transformation of ethyl 4-aryl-6-methyl-2-oxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydropyrimidine-5-carboxylates in alkaline hydrolytic conditions.
