Rapidly growing digital platforms for gold have had an enormous effect on gold investment in South Asia, as they provide consumers with more convenient ways to invest in gold compared to traditional gold methods. Many digital platforms are highlighting how they contribute to financial inclusion, while at the same time, there are still issues with regulatory relationships, the issue of transparency, and consumer protection, and operator accountability. This study aims to look at how good governance impacts performance, credibility, and sustainability on digital gold platforms across India, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia. Secondary data sources government publications, regulatory agencies' communications, industry publications/reports, and platform disclosure. Using mixed analysis, descriptive statistics, comparative analysis to compare the relationship between governance practices and market performance, policy analysis, and content analysis of regulatory framework will be used to analyze the data. The data analysis will take place on Microsoft Excel and EViews statistical software. The study results show that better governance regulatory guidelines that are clearly defined, with effective supervisory/oversight and concise reporting, improve investors' confidence and help develop stable markets. On the other hand, if there is poor enforcement of laws, laws not being applied equally, and very little consumer education, there is a risk for operations; thus, a decline in market confidence. This study supports the need to develop coordinated regional common governance standards, develop investor education initiatives, and strengthen regulatory ability. Finally, it is concluded that good governance will help ensure transparency, consumer protection, and promote the sustainable growth of digital gold platforms within South Asia.
