Stille-type cross coupling reactions with tetraalkynyl stannanes
Tetraalkynyl stannanes were reacted with aryl iodides and bromides under Stille conditions to give diaryl acetylenes and/or diaryl diacetylenes. The reaction conditions, scope and limitations of the proposed method are discussed.
