Abstract

Xanthane hydride (5-Amino-3H-1,2,4-dithiazole-3-thione) reacts with dicyandiamide to afford new 1,3,5-thiadiazine derivative. Xanthane hydride was found to be moderately active antidote
towards herbicide 2,4-D, plant growth regulator and steel corrosion inhibitor.
