Abstract

Los factores ambientales son un riesgo para contraer EII. La microbiota
intestinal tiene numerosos mecanismos de acción que provocan numerosos
efectos que pueden ser perjudiciales o beneficiosos. Los estudios publicados
en los últimos años acumulan cada vez más datos acerca de la importancia
de la microbiota y su disbiosis en la patogénesis de la EII-p, pero aún no se
conoce bien este mecanismo. El uso de la microbioma como biomarcador es
un planteamiento atractivo, pero requiere una mayor investigación.
