Abstract

El cáncer renal es el 7 o tumor más frecuente en hombres y el 10 o en mu-
jeres. Este aumenta su aparición con la edad y tiene una mayor incidencia
en Europa y Norteamérica. Su tasa de mortalidad se encuentra en descenso
debido a los avances en medicina. Actualmente existe un incremento progre-
sivo de la evidencia del papel del microbioma en la eficacia de la terapéutica
del cáncer renal.
