Abstract

El pulmón humano alberga una comunidad bacteriana única y dinámica. En
la enfermedad pulmonar, los cambios regionales en el ambiente pulmonar
crean nichos permisivos para el crecimiento bacteriano, lo que resulta en
diferencias significativas en la composición de la comunidad entre personas
sanas y enfermas. El cáncer de pulmón es el cáncer más común y puede ser
detectado haciendo uso del microbioma a modo de biomarcador.
