Abstract:
A serie of six fused bis-heterocycles having imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine frameworks bound with quinoline were synthesized by catalysis and solvent free, microwave assisted Groebke-Blackburn-Bienaymé reaction (GBBR). The synthesis of these compounds is of great interest in synthetic and medicinal chemistry because these heterocycles are considered privileged scaffolds.
