The "29th IGB Workshop—Targeting the (un)usual suspects in cancer" will accept abstracts only.
Participants will have the opportunity to contribute with a full manuscript to the Special Issue "Targeting the (un)usual suspects in cancer" that will be launched soon on Cancers journal (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/cancers).

- Submit an abstract in English, maximum 250 words.
- The deadline to submit your abstract is 15th October 2021 (extended deadline).
- Upon submission, you can select if you wish to be considered for poster or oral presentation. Following assessment by the Scientific Committee, you will be notified by 8th November 2021 in a separate e-mail whether your contribution has been accepted for oral or poster presentation.
- To finalize the scientific program in due time, at least one registration by any of the authors, denoted as Covering Author, is required for any accepted abstract.
- The registration deadline is 15th November 2021 (extended deadline).
- Abstract will be withdrawn if the registration is not complete by this date.
The Poster
• Includes title, authors, contact details and main findings of your research, as well as tables, figures and graphs where necessary.
• One slide format: PDF (.pdf) or power point
• Preferred orientation: landscape/screen
Poster Sessions
The Poster Sessions will take place in Zoom break-out rooms. The rooms will be called after the authors' names. As author, you will automatically be assigned to your break-out room, however, you will be responsible for your own room, i.e. sharing your screen by yourself, handling the comments in the chat if there are any, etc. People will then be able to visit your room and discuss your poster with you. Please make sure you have the Zoom Desktop client or mobile app, version 5.3.0 or higher.
Your posters will only be displayed on Zoom during the date and times mentioned above. They will not be available anywhere else. We will reach out to you closer to the dates of the conference with information concerning the Zoom links.
Short talks will be 15 min long including questions (12'+3' Q&A). The typical presentation should be about 10–12 minutes.
All presentations must be sent to the conference secretariat in advance so that, in case of any technical difficulties, we could share your slides with the audience.
