The Japanese Society for Non-Destructive Inspection (JSNDI) is an academic research organization dedicated to promoting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) in Japan. Established in 1952 as a voluntary group and officially incorporated in 1955, JSNDI operates under the jurisdiction of Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Its activities include academic research, technical training, certification of NDT personnel, publication of scholarly materials, and the development of standards. JSNDI also facilitates international collaboration and information exchange in the field of NDT. As of 2023, the society celebrated its 70th anniversary, marking decades of contribution to safety, quality assurance, and technological advancement across industries.
